Head of Account Management (Serviced Apartments) – London – VR/14192.

My client based in central London is looking to expand its team and seeks an experienced senior account manager to spearhead its team helping win and retain high volume corporate accounts.

The head of account management will reporting to the Sales Director, and a significant element of the role is to take prime responsibility for winning, implementing, on-going management, retention and growth of some of the company’s largest accounts.

The head of account management should have previous experience of large implementations and senior stakeholder management. Previous track record within Corporate Housing /Serviced Apartment industry would be helpful, but my client will consider at candidates with previous experience of working with large corporates within the relocation service industry, corporate travel or corporate hotel sales who have the relevant experience.

The role of the head of account management is to ensure business development opportunities are taken to grow transactional “local” accounts into high volume “National” or “Global” accounts. Demonstrable track record of bid management and RFP expertise is therefore essential. A solid career history and a high profile within the relocation, corporate housing and/or business travel industries is required.

The head of account management will be comfortable with both business development as well as strategic account management and possess an analytical ability to establish reporting frameworks which measure team performance, commercial delivery and client service levels.

This role will form a part of the company management team and whilst previous management skills would be preferred, candidates with the relevant experience and attitude who want to make the move into management will be considered.
