Relo Business Development Executive – VR/14411

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive for our clients who are established relocation service providers.

It is essential that all candidates have a minimum of 5 years sales experience in Relocation Services.

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering year-on-year revenue growth of new business for the company with specific responsibility for growing the business of the Corporate Relocation Division.

Key Tasks:

Coordinate all sales activities and produce a 12 month sales plan with supporting marketing plan.

Update database of contacts held by Marketing Department so it is 100% current.

Agree sales targets by producing annual budget for monthly enquiries.

Monitor monthly sales performance against budget and identify areas requiring attention.

Prepare monthly reports on sales performance.

Visit or personally contact potential client referrers or clients throughout the UK in order to generate sales.

Maintain and develop trusted relationships with existing introducers.

Contribute to informal addressing of development needs and celebrating success.

Attend and contribute to monthly meetings.

Experience and Skills:

Sales skills with an emphasis on closing the deal.

Influence and negotiation skills.

Understanding the implementation of Relocation policies.

Understanding of the housing market.

Knowledge of HR functions and drivers within a corporate environment.

Computer literate with skills in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.

Candidates must be innovative, good at problem solving and have excellent organisation and communication skills. You should be able to work calmly under pressure and multi-task. You should be proactive, able to work on your own initiative and be confident to ask questions when unsure.
