Roomservice by CORT wishes to grow its business in the UK with a uniquely positioned furniture sale or rental service targeted at both existing and new customers, further increasing our market share, and growing the total marketplace in the UK.


This role is a field sales role requiring some UK and/or overseas travel with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities of the Senior Business Development Consultant will include but are not limited to the following:

  1. To primarily work within and develop the residential market and/or the relocation market depending on experience.

  2. To interpret and convey customer needs within the company to develop new commercially viable services.

  3. To create and deliver client training seminars to sell the services we offer as an integral part of client development and relationship building.

  4. To work closely with the internal sales support team giving full and detailed briefs of client requirements, and coach them on sales and presentation techniques when necessary.
Person Specification:

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of field sales and experience in either the residential and/or relocation market sectors.

  • They will be presentable, articulate, and numerate with good time management and communication skills.

  • They will need to be experienced at understanding clients’ needs and interpreting their requirements to the wider business

  • They will be an energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to work alone but with strong team player skills.

  • They can effectively interpret and adapt to achieving company and team objectives as well as fulfilling individual targets.

  • Management experience would be an advantage.
