Senior Sales Manager – London

Job Description

A worldwide logistics provider has a vacancy for a Senior Sales Manager.  You will be responsible for the overall development of Sales for the UK, as well as all aspects pertaining to sales strategy, business development and marketing requirements for the UK in conjunction with Senior Management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • New business development
  • Identify any advertising and marketing needs
  • Ensure cross marketing/selling of all services
  • Client presentations
  • Develop corporate relationships
  • Report market intelligence and identify customer needs
  • Reporting on all sales and marketing analysis
  • Overseeing and directly managing London Sales team
  • Liasing and working with other offices on sales/marketing matters
  • Sales enquiries, standards, policies, goals

The Person:

    • Must have minimum 3 – 5 years experience in the sales & management field.
    • Background – A proven track record in sales/relocation or both
    • Consultative sales style, i.e. used to selling a service or a concept
    • Commercial acumen and resilience
    • Very well presented, strong presentation and customer service skills
    • Ability to be able to communicate with both HR and Procurement
    • Based in London with willingness to travel within the UK as required (almost exclusively in the UK, but may on rare occasions be required to travel abroad)
    • Team player with ability to work with other company Locations

    • Strong team player and be people orientated
    • Excellent telephone manner
    • Flexible approach towards hours of work.
